All those residents of Delhi, who have visited or will visit Kumbh-2021 at Haridwar are required to upload requisite details (viz name, address in Delhi, contact no, ID proof, date of departure from Delhi & arrival in Delhi etc ) on the link at Delhi govt portal, the order issued on late Saturday by DDMA said.

All those residents of Delhi who have visited or going are going to visit Kumbh-2021 at Haridwar shall be required to compulsory home quarantine themselves for 14 days on arrival to Delhi,” the order further added.

“If it is found/reported that any such resident of Delhi, who has returned to Delhi after visiting Kumbh-2021, has not uploaded the requisite details/information, he/she will be sent to the institutional government quarantine centers. The District magistrate of Delhi will ensure tracing and surveillance on a daily basis of such residents of Delhi. They should also ensure quarantining of such residents of Delhi, either at home or government quarantine centers. All district magistrates of Delhi and their counterpart DCPs and all authorities concerned should ensure strict compliance of this order,” according to the order issued by Chief Secretary, Delhi, Vijay Dev.

On Saturday, the city reported the largest single-day spike of 24,375 fresh cases of COVID-19 while 167 people lost their lives. The new additions took the City’s caseload to 8,27,998 and the death toll to 11,960.
