Vinay Ranjan, who has been given additional charge of CCL as Director (Personnel) in addition to his assignment at Eastern Coalfields Limited, will be the new Director (Personnel & IR) of Coal India Limited.
Public Enterprises Selection Board, has recommended the name of Vinay Ranjan for the post of Director (Personnel &IR), CIL on Tuesday. Altogether eight candidates were interviewed by the PESB.
Under the leadership of Vinay Ranjan, CCL carried out various diversified CSR activities and company performed outstandingly during the pandemic. Many new initiatives were taken related to Covid patients in various hospitals of CCL including Gandhinagar and Ramgarh hospital. The recovery rate of covid patients was very satisfactorily.
Prior to joining ECL, he was holding the position of Corporate Vice President & Head HR of DB Power Ltd. Vinay Ranjan has extensive exposure of working in both Public and private sectors.
