Due to surge in positive cases of Covid-19 across the district, the District administration has requested the government for 20KL/day of Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) to meet the growing demand.
In a statement Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri said that the usual requirement, as on today we have been receiving approx 15 KL of LMO from Ms Praxair India Pvt Ltd, Bellary and 10 KL from Ms. Bhoruka Gases Ltd Bengaluru once in three days.
Total of 24 KL is currently being utilised for supply to various Government and Private hospitals of Mysuru district and neighbouring Districts.
As the cases of Covid-19 is increasing in Mysuru district, & keeping in view the expansion of 500 oxygenated bed facilities at Super Speciality Hospital and increase in oxygenated bed capacity in private Hospitals in the District.
