New Delhi, June 6 (UNI) Delhi is likely to witness a scorching Monday, as the maximum temperature is likely to touch 44 degrees Celsius despite strong surface winds, as per the India Meteorological Department.
The minimum temperature on Monday morning was recorded at 26.6 degrees, one degree below normal, while
the relative humidity at 8.30 am was 25 per cent.
According to the IMD, heat wave-conditions are likely to prevail in isolated places of Delhi on Monday.
On Sunday, amid the heat wave Delhi’s maximum temperature breached the 45-degrees-mark at various localities. Mungeshpur recorded 47.3 degrees, seven notches above normal, making it the hottest place in the capital.
