Patna: On behalf of the ongoing protests against Agnipath, Bihar railway suspended the day time services. The Ministry of Railway has announced that the railway services remain closed until 8 pm. The train services will be available only between 8 PM and 4 AM and the rest of the services will remain cancelled in the daytime.
The railway has implemented strict actions on behalf of the violent protests that have been taking place in the region since days. The protestors set fire to trains and tried to turn the region into a riot ground that created huge loss to the railway properties.
The protestors are destroying the public properties and disrupting public life on demand of withdrawing the newly announced scheme, Agnipath. The Army, Navy and Airforce chiefs have said that the protests are led by people who have no clarity about the working and implementation of the scheme and the youth must withdraw from such agitations.
