Lucknow: BJP SC Yuvamorcha District leader Gautam Kathariya was attacked by an unidentified group in Mainpuri region of Uttar Pradesh. He was seriously injured and is admitted in the hospital.
The incident took place last night when Gautham Kathariya was on his way home. He was shot by two people who reached the place in a two-wheeler. He fell to the ground and the culprits escaped within no time. Reportedly, he was rushed to the nearby hospital by the native people who heard the noise.
He is currently under treatment in the Agra Medical College. Police started an investigation and are examining the area including the CCTV footage.
As per the Primary report, the culprits have close association with people who are conducting attacks in the ongoing protest against the Central Government’s newly announced scheme, Agnipath . On behalf of this, several attacks are being executed in different regions of the state.
