Delhi: Baba Ramdev opposed the protests and attacks that have been taking place against Agnipath, a recently announced scheme by the Central Government. He said he is supporting the scheme and the ongoing protests are actually taking place by the traitors. He talked about the scheme while attending a function conducted by the Vishwa Umiya Foundation Campus.
Baba Ramdev said he supports the scheme and what is currently going on in the country is wrong. He added that he could not support the destruction of public properties and the burning of trains. The protestors are not bothered about Mahatma Gandhi’s ideology on non-violence and the recent issues are against the national interest.
Meanwhile, the government detected attempts to spread fake news against Agnipath. The Central Government has banned 35 WhatsApp groups that are involved in the hate spread.
