Ernakulam: A Madrassa teacher, who had been sodomising a eleven year old boy, got 67 year rigorous imprisonment. Fast track court at Permbavur produced the verdict today, punishing Aliyar, a native of Nellikkuzhi. The incident took place in the year 2000.
The accused, molested the boy several times inside the madrassa room and insisted him to watch porn videos. The court has pronounced the punishment today , considering the evidences produced by the prosecution.
Police arrested the accused on 19 January 2020 under POCSO Act. The boy had narrated the ordeal to some of his friends and they informed the matter to other teachers and to Childline. Aliyar got arrested on the basis of a complaint filed by Childline.
