Mumbai: Uddhav Thackeray took action against the current CM Eknath Shinde inside Shiv Sena, in which the former has a major role. Shinde was removed from the organizational positions that he held inside the party.
In a letter given to Shinde, he was charged for leading activities against the party and for voluntarily giving up his membership.
As a person who sits in a prominent position in Shiv Sena, I am using the power vested on me to remove Shinde from all his positions in the party, added in Thackeray’s letter.
Uddhav Thackeray resigned from the position of Chief Minister on Wednesday following the rebel’s move against him. Soon after that, Eknath Shinde was sworn in as the new CM of Maharashtra.
