Thiruvananthapuram: Yuvamorcha has staged a massive protest against Minister Saji Cheriyan here in the state capital. The protesters held a march before secretariat and burnt effigy. Yuvamorcha responded that the derogatory remark of Saji is challenging democracy and the nation.
Yuvamorcha alleged that the CPM led Government’s attitude makes all the three and a half crore Keralites ashamed. The insulting attitude comes even from the cultural affairs minister .
BJP District Vice President Thirumala Anil, while inaugurating the secretariat march, asked CM to demand resignation from Saji Cheriyan. Yuvamorcha District President R Sajith presided the march. Yuvamorcha District General Secretary Pappanamkod Nandu, Poovachal Aji, Nedumangad Vinjith, Sreejith Pappanamkod and Kavitha Subhash also participated in the protest.
