Thiruvananthapuram: Saji Cheriyan resigns as Kerala Cultural Minister. The crucial decision came after the CPM meeting. CPM suggested Saji Cheriyan to submit his resignation.
While inaugurating the 100th episode of a FB live programme conducted by Mallappally CPM area committee on last Sunday, he alleged that the constitution was written as per the direction of British.He also added that “the constitution can serve to loot the most numbert of people, was written in the country”.
Saji Cheriyan insulted the constitution of India and said it condoned exploitation of workers.
Huge protests erupted from several parts of the state soon after Saji Cheriyan’s anti constitutional statement.
