Thiruvananthapuram: Actor Hareesh Peradi slams CPM for criticising V D Satheesan on participating in an RSS programme that took place at Paravoor in 2006.
I have lots of RSS – BJP friends and relatives. Just like Pinarayi Vijayan visiting Narendra Modi, we too meet on occasions when we feel that we cannot move forward without mutual contact and cooperation, says Peradi.
He clarifies that he even attended a Janmashtami programme organised by Balagokulam.
He said, if there is no issues in Kodiyeri Balakrishnan visiting Sukumaran Nair, Vellappally Nateshan and Kanthapuram Musliyar and if Pinarayi Vijayan can share the stage with Mahdani, then V D Satheesan can also participate in the RSS programme.
BJP was elected by the people of India and not by armed rebellion. No matter who practices it, any kind of untouchability is a form of racism, Peradi added.
