Kannur, July 12 (UNI) The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh office at Payyanur came under a bomb attack early Tuesday, police said. However, no one was at the office during the attack as such no casualty was reported.
According to Payyanur police, the incident took place around 1.30 am. Window panes at the front side of the office shattered and cupboards installed on the walls were partially by the explosion.
Bomb and dog squads conducted searches at the site and large contingent of police have been at the site since. Tense situation prevailed at Payyanur and nearby areas, however, things are under control, the police said.
