Oregon: Indian Athlete Neeraj Chopra has expressed his joy on achieving a silver medal for India. He said he was confident in his performance and satisfied with the way he performed for the nation. All competitors performed well and the journey was difficult. But it indeed taught so many things too.
My thirst for gold will continue and it is known that one cannot expect gold every time. For better performance I will concentrate more on my practice in the coming days, Neeraj added.
Neeraj Chopra won the silver medal by throwing a distance of 88.13 meters in javelin throw. He qualified for the finals by throwing a distance of 82.39 meters.
