New Delhi: Nineteen opposition MPs, including MPs from Kerala, have been suspended for their unruly behaviour in the Rajya Sabha today. The suspension is for the remaining part of the week.

MPs stood in the well of the House and raised slogans and protested. A A Rahim, V Sivadas, E Santhosh Kumar are the MPs from Kerala and the other suspended MPs including DR. Santhanu Sen, Abhi Ranjan Biswar, Md. Nadimul Haque, M Hamamed Abdulla, B Lingaiah Yadav, Ravindra Vaddiraju, S Kalyanasundaram, R Girranjan, N R Elango, M Shanmugham, Damodar Rao Divakonda and Dr. Kanimozhi NVN Somu .

MPs had started protests from the morning itself and the proceedings of the Sabha frequently interrupted. And when the adjourned Sabha joined again in the afternoon session, the opposition MPs again made ruckus.

Last day, four Congress MPs were suspended from Lok Sabha for raising placards without permission.
