New Delhi: Congress president Soniya Gandhi will be questioned again in the National Herald case today. She was questioned for 6 hours last day. Media reported that the Congress president had faced 55 questions as part of the 2 days interrogation.
She has also faced the same questions given to Rahul Gandhi to check whether their responses are contradictory. She has been called again to get more explanations on some questions .
Last day, Sonia reached ED’s office at 11 am with Priyanka and Rahul. She was interrogated with all facilities including the surveillance of a medical team. After completing the session at 7 pm, she returned from the ED office in Central Delhi.
The session extended for two hours in the initial day. She felt tired in between and hence given special medical assistance due to her bad health and post Covid conditions. 28 questions were asked on that day.
ED asked questions about the formation of Young India Limited and the decisions taken during the board meetings.
Meanwhile, the Congress is still firm in the decision to continue their protests against the interrogation. They have decided to file an emergency resolution with allegations against the central government that they are manipulating the investigation agency.
