Raipur: Communist terrorist was killed at Sukma in Chhattisgarh today. The encounter took place in the forest area near Bindrapani village.
The encounter took place amid the search held by the District Reserve Guard team. Upon specific input, the team started operation on Thursday night, but the terrorists escaped and the security team continued search . The second encounter took place in the morning . The deceased identified as Rajesh Madkam, the Katekalyan area committee member, was the terrorist carrying Rs 5 lakh bounty on his head, informed IG Sundarraj.
Weapons were also recovered from the spot. Search operation of the security forces is underway.
Earlier on 22 July, police gunned down another communist terrorist in Sukma.
