New Delhi: Coast Guard has arranged an awareness campaign in the background of the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence. The campaign was conducted at Chellanam Cooperative Bank under the guidance of Abhinav, the Indian Coast Guard Ship.
The program was inaugurated by the Kochi MLA K J Maxi.
The campaign explained about the freedom fighters, those who fought for the country, the things to be followed while hoisting the flag, the flag code and also given instructions on disposing the flag after use.
The awareness campaign was attended by the leaders of several organizations.
The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign will begin from 13 August. The coast guard has arranged several programs to encourage the program.
