Palakkad: Court has ordered for re-investigation in Walayar case. The order reiterates that CBI itself should continue the re-investigation. The chargesheet saying that the children committed suicide, was rejected by the court. The new order is from Palakkad POCSO court.
The verdict is based on the petition filed by the children’s mother. ”All known evidence was handed over to the CBI. The investigating officers should investigate the case by considering it as a murder”, said the mother.
Those officials confirmed the same thing that Sojan, the officer who had investigated earlier, had found. Don’t repeat a Wallayar case anymore. The move is for that. The mother also accused that the investigation was done by ignoring scientific evidences. It is believed that the coming officers will investigate honestly.
CBI filed the charge sheet in the court on December 27. The CBI team found that there was no evidence to prove that the children’s death was murder and not a suicide.
