Thiruvananthapuram: The authorities of three districts, Alappuzha , Thrissur and Idukki have announced holiday for all educational institutions today. Though the rain has subsided, the decision was taken considering the situation of schools being functioning as relief camps.
The respective district collectors have announced holiday for all educational institutions that have been running as relief camps.
Today, Edathiruthi High School, Karalam ALPS, Cherpu JBS and Thanissery Little Flower LPS, which are working as relief camps in Thrissur, will be closed.
In Idukki district at Idukki Thaluk, all educational institutions except Kanjikkuzhy Nangicity LP School remain closed today.
