Thiruvananthapuram : Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan has decided not to host the ‘At Home’ reception in the evening on August 15, Independence Day, at Kerala Raj Bhavan in view of the hardship caused by heavy rain in various parts of the State.
The Governor has decided to utilize the amount saved on this account for extending relief to the families affected by the calamities, a release said.
