Thiruvananthapuram: Popular personalities of the state have taken up the PM’s Har Ghar Tiranga announcement on the celebration of the 75th year of Indian independence. BJP national vice president A P Abdullakutty and MP P T Usha have hoisted flags at their home.
Abdullakutty informed that at his home, the flag was hoisted by his mother in the presence of his children and in-laws. He shared pictures on social media too.
MP PT Usha had also posted the pictures of flag hoisting at her home. She said that her family has participated in the program by paying honours to mother India. She added that she is committed towards the process of nation building. The flag was hoisted by Usha’s mother Lakshmi along with her uncle Narayanan.
As part of the campaign, the film stars Mammootty, Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi had hoisted flags at their homes.
