Palakkad: Yuva Morcha Palakkad District President Prashanth Sivan has alleged that groupism and split in the CPM party has led to the murder of Shajahan. All the accused are CPM workers, added Prashanth. He shared the image in Face book, which depicts the accused standing near CPM leaders.

CPM is trying to tarnish RSS and indirectly planning to get a martyr. Prashanth Sivan goes on to say that Shajahan, CPM local committe member was hacked to death by the ganja mafia belonging to Kottekkad region. Prashanth has also shared images of Naveen, the suspect of the crime, is seen participating in the programmes conducted by CPM and also seen standing near the gunda team of Kannur.

Meanwhile, in the FIR, it is mentioned that political vendetta led to the murder. The eye witness had already revealed that Shajahan was hacked by two people, identified as Sabari and Aneesh and they are active members of CPM. It is hinted that the reason for the clash was in connection with the subsciption of ‘Deshabhimani’ daily.

CPM local leaders had alleged that RSS workers were behind the attack and murder. But the State Secretariat had not responded in support of the allegation and that made a setback. However, CPI State Secretary Kanam Rajendran told that police have to investigate and find out the killers and it is not fair to accuse someone before the truth comes out.
