Palakkad: Special team was formed under Palakkad DYSP to conduct investigation on the murder of CPM local committee member Shajahan.
The report says that a special team was formed considering the intensity and seriousness of the incident. In the special investigation team, there are 20 members including the DYSP and members in the Cyber Department too.
The report also instructed that the files that are related to the incident should be immediately sent to the Palakkad DYSP from Malampuzha police station, where the incident has been registered.
The murder took place on 14 August night, in the midst of the preparations to celebrate the Independence Day. News were already out that the murderers are supporters of the CPM party and the witnesses also said that an argument on the circulation of Deshabhimani news paper finally lead to the murder.
