New Delhi: India marked low rate of Covid positivity rate in the last twenty four hours. As per the figures of the Ministry of Health, 8813 people were tested positive in the last 24 hours. Within two months, this is for the first time the nation witnessing daily number of cases below 10000.
29 deaths were reported within 24 hours and this raised the total death tolls to 527,098. The death rate reached 1.19 percent. The total number of active cases in the country is 111,252. This is 0.25 percent of the total number of people who are affected by the disease. The daily positivity rate is 4.15 and the weekly rate has reached 4.79 percent.
According to the records, 43,638,844 people have recovered from the disease so far. 15,040 people have recovered from the disease within the last twenty four hours. 2,08,31,24,694 doses of Covid vaccines were provided so far in the country
