Praveen Nettaru’s murder; religious extreamists targeted to trigger Islamic terrorism; NIA releases crucial data

Bengaluru: NIA has revealed shocking facts on the murder of Praveen Nettaru, Yuva Morcha leader from Karnataka. NIA stated that the brutal killing was to nurture Islamic terrorism in the locality. Praveen Nettaru, an active worker of Yuva Morcha was murdered by extremists last moth.

National Investigation Agency got crucial information while interrogating the accused. Masood, a local, living in the region, was killed by a gang before Praveen’s murder. The reason for Masood’s killing is said to be personal grudge. The accused said that Praveen’s murder was a retaliation for this.

NIA has also revealed that the real motive behind the incident was to attack Hindu people and thus, create Islamic terrorism in the region. Sakir Savanur, Mohammed Shafeeque Bellare ,Sheikh Saddam Hussain and Mohammed Haris are the culprits under custody.

Masood was killed on 19 July and soon after the incident, the accused started planning to kill Praveen Nettaru. The accused had a thorough plot for the murder, said NIA. Praveen Nettaru was attacked by three assailants with lethal weapons at 9 pm on 26 July, in fornt of his shop at Bellare village in Dakshina Kannada.
