Kochi: Family filed a complaint over the disappearance of Captain Nirmal Shivarajan, a native of Mamangalam, Ernakulam, from Madhya Pradesh. An investigation has been started by the Madhya Pradesh police and Army.
He went missing while returning from Jabalpur after visiting his wife Lieutenant Gopi Chandra. Nirmal’s mother said that he used to send messages regularly and she became suspicious when no messages were received.
Nirmal started his journey from Jabalpur at 3 O’ clock and 8:30 was the scheduled time to reach. His mother said that once she called, he said about a block and assured to call after confirming it. After that, his phone turned off when she called him after 9 O’ clock. Some of his friends informed them that Nirmal had not reached and the family did not receive any call afterwards. The family doubts whether Nirmal is stranded in flood.
