Palakkad: The accused of CPM Brach Secretary Shajahan’s murder case have responded to media today in Palakkad. The seventh accused Sivarajan told that the police had beaten them up. Naveen, the main accused in the murder case claimed that all of the accused belong to CPM and they have not committed the crime.
Meanwhile, police’s response is that they have nothing to say on the complaint of Sivarajan about the police beating. Police has no need for that, said DYSP V K Raju.
The accused were presented before the court and under the custody of police till 25 August. The court, remanded Vishnu, Suneesh, Sivarajan and Satheesh for 14 days. The arrest was recorded last day.
