Thiruvananthapuram: Educational Minister V Sivankutty has increased the salary of his personnel staff. The Public Administration Department has issued an order in giving promotion and in increasing the salary of the minister’s office staff. P S Anand, who was working as Additional PA will serve the post of Assistant Private Secretary from today. K Santhosh Kumar , who was working as Clerk, was appointed as Additional PA. Anand’s salary has increased to Rs 75,500 from Rs 60,000 and the salary of Santhosh Kumar has also increased to Rs 60,000 from Rs 40,000. Santhosh Kumar, who joined as a clerk, got the gazette post within a year.
As the salary increases, the pension of both will also increase. On the 17th of this month, the Public Administration Department issued an order increasing the salary and in the promotion of the officials. The decision of the Public Administration Department is based on the letter given by Minister Sivankutty. The order was issued after obtaining the approval of the Chief Minister.
