New Delhi: President Draupadi Murmu to give award to the best teachers who flourishes a child’s life. The president will give awards to them on the National Teacher’s Day .
46 teachers from Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Maharashtra and Telangana will be honoured.
Murmu said that the teachers who are encouraging the quality of school education will be honoured and their contributions will be encouraged too.
The best teachers were selected via an online platform after completing a three level selection process. The selection was done with utmost accuracy and transparency. The awards will be given on 5 September at a function in Vinjan Bhavan.
Every year, an honouring function for the best teachers will take place on 5 September at Vinjan Bhavan. The aim of the programme is to encourage teachers who are dedicated in their respective field.
The function started since 2018.
