Mumbai: After the accidental death of Cirus Mistri, Anand Mahindra, the Mahindra group chairman has pledged that he will definitely wear seat belts even while travelling in the back seat of the vehicle. He said this on his social media platform by sharing the death news of Mistri.
“I resolve to always wear my seat belt even when in the rear seat of the car. And I urge all of you to take that pledge too. We all owe it to our families”, tweeted Anand Mahindra.
Mistri’s accident took place last day at 3:15 pm at the Gujarat-Maharashtra border . Jehangir Dinsho Pantole, his wife Anahita Pantole and Darius Pantole were also in the car with Mistri. Jehangir Dinsho Pantole died in the accident and the two others were hospitalized with injuries.
The car was driven by Dr Anahitha Pantole. She was working as a gynecologist at Breach Candy hospital, Mumbai. Police said that the car got hit on the divider of the bridge.
