Opposition accelerated after quitting from the BJP; 15 JDU panchayath members join BJP in Daman and Diu

Daman: JDU is facing a continuous withdrawal of its members to BJP. Fifteen JDU members have joined BJP recently and this has caused a huge backlash to the party.

Fifteen members including women had left the party in a function that was held on the last day. Many dignitaries from BJP had also attended that function.

JDU had 17 panchayath members in the union territories. The party was under pressure when fifteen of its members joined the BJP. Nikhil Mandal, the spokesperson of JDU, had also left the party last day.
