Kochi: A petition has been filed in the High Court against Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra. The petition pointed out that it is causing traffic blocks on the roads. The petitioner is an advocate of the High Court.
The petition alleges that the entire road is being given to the participants of Jodo yatra. The journey should be done on one side of the National Highway only. The demand in the petition is that the High Court should direct the other side to be opened for the vehicles.
The petition also demands that money be charged for police security. The High Court will consider the petition the next day. The traffic jams caused by the Bharat Jodo Yatra were in the news earlier.
