Massive drug hunt in the country

Mumbai: Heroin worth Rs 1725 crore seized in Mumbai. The drugs were seized from Mumbai’s Nava Sewa Port.
22 tonnes of heroin coated with licorice was seized. Special CP HGS Dhaliwal said that it was seized while trying to smuggle it to Delhi.

He said that this incident shows how narco-terrorism affects our country and how drugs are smuggled into the country internationally. Officials said the total amount of heroin was about 345 kilograms. A detailed investigation is underway.
