Jammu and Kashmir: Two terrorists were taken into custody by the security forces from Sopore area of Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. Arms and ammunition were recovered from them.
Two terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Srinagar. Another two were arrested after this. The arrested are the activists of Al-Qaeda-affiliated Ansar-Daswat-ul-Hind. There were reports that the terrorist organization was active in the valley.
Army has beefed up security amid rising terror attacks. The Jammu and Kashmir Investigation Agency has launched searches at various places to find those involved in terrorist activities and illegal activities. The raid is being conducted jointly by the police and the administration. The agency also informed that the raid will continue in the coming days too.
