Pathanamthitta: A wild boar has been killed after falling in a well at Omalloor, a village in Pathanamthitta district, owned by a native named Sasi.
The wild boar fell inside the well at 11 am yesterday. The authorities decided to kill it when the locals said that it would destroy the farming if escaped. The procedures had took place under the authority of Johnson Vilavinal, the panchayath president.
The forest department had arrived at 5 in the evening and killed the wild boar inside the well. After hours of effort, they took the dead body of the pig outside the well and later it was buried.
