Bangalore: Akhil Iyer, a Kannada actor said that he will legally proceed against the Congress over using his photos in a protest against the Kannada Government. The congress has used his pictures in a campaign against the BJP Government in Karnataka.
The actor tweeted that “I am appalled to see that my face is being used illegally and without my consent for “40% Sarkara” – an @INCIndia campaign that i have nothing to do with. I will be taking legal action against this”.
His pictures were added in a poster titled “ The Government has grabbed the youngsters career” The poster demands the participation of the youth. The authorities used the actor’s photo taken from his Facebook profile.
