Thiruvananthapuram: Police have yet to arrest the KSRTC employees who beat up the father who came to Kattakkada asking for concession for his daughter. Even after five days of the incident, the investigation team is still searching for the accused. According to the police, the four accused in the case are absconding.
The accused are seeking anticipatory bail to avoid arrest. In this situation too, the police do not arrest them. From the very beginning of the case, there was an allegation that the attitude of the police was to protect the accused. There are five accused in the case.
Station Master of KSRTC Aryanad Unit A. Muhammad Sharif, Duty Guard at Kattakkada Depot S. R. Suresh Kumar, Conductor N. Anil Kumar and Assistant C P Milan Dorich attacked Premanan and his daughter, a native of Amachal. Apart from them, Aji, a mechanic, was also included in the list of accused yesterday. The investigation team decided to make Aji an accused on the basis of the FIR. The police were widely criticized for not filing a case against Aji.
