Pathanamthitta: The police conducted search in the houses of Popular Front terrorists at Konni. The raid occurred in the houses of Muhammad Shan and Ajmal at Kummannoor and Mavanal region.
The raid took place under the leadership of the DYSP, Konni. The arrested culprits are accused of attacking the KSRTC bus at Vakayar, Konni on the day of the strike.
Last day, PFI and eight related organisations are banned in the country for the next five years. Centre points out that the organisation is a threat to the nation. The decision was taken after the terrorist link was found.
Following the ban on PFI, the Centre force has been deployed to Aluva. Threat against RSS leaders was also come up from Aluva, as the region with huge number of PFI terrorists.
106 people were arrested in a raid conducted by the NIA on 22 September. 19 leaders were arrested alone from Kerala. From different states, 247 people were arrested in the second level of the raid.
