Thiruvananthapuram: The Chief Minister’s foreign trip has been cancelled. It is reported that the trip to Finland is cancelled due to the bad health condition of CPM leader Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. The Chief Minister will go to Chennai tomorrow to visit Kodiyeri.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his team were to leave for Europe tonight for a two-week visit. Chief Secretary V P Joy, Principal Secretary Public Education Mohammad Hanish, Minister V. Shivankutty were included in the team.
CPM leader Kodiyeri Balakrishnan is undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital in Chennai. He was admitted to Apollo on August 29.
