Visakhapatnam: Pastor Hamilton (65), a native of Adiviravulappad, got arrested over the incident of killing a stray dog with an airgun. He has been arrested over a complaint given by the locals.
It is on the last day the pastor killed the stray dog using his air gun. The stray dog was barking in front of the pastor’s house. He tried sending it away but failed. The dog also tried to attack the pastor and this made the pastor shoot and kill the dog using the air gun.
The locals who saw the incident informed the police immediately. A case has been filed against Hamilton under the Prevention of Crimes against Animals Act.
Police have informed that they have started an investigation in the case.
