Jammu: Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir has begun. As part of the visit, Amit Shah interacted with various community members of Kashmir.
Members of the Jammu Sikh community, Rajput, Pahari and Gujjar Bakharwal met the Union Home Minister and informed about the situation. Representatives of the Dogra community who visited Amit Shah said they would like to thank the Prime Minister for declaring a holiday on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh, who kept Jammu and Kashmir as a part of India.
They expressed their respect and love for Amit Shah by making him wear a turban and a shawl. Law and order situation in Kashmir and problems faced by various communities were discussed in the meetings. He will also visit Mata Vaishno Devi Temple. People including Jammu and Kashmir Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha had come to receive him.
