New Delhi: Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has no bail in Patra Chawl land scam case. His judicial custody has been extended till October 10. The hearing of the bail application was also adjourned to October 10. The action was taken by the special court that hears the case.
Raut’s custody was earlier extended till October 3 in the money laundering case related to the land scam. Raut was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on August 1. After recording a detailed statement in the case, the ED conducted a search at Raut’s house on July 31. Sanjay Raut has been arrested by the ED in connection with the Patra Chawl land deal that involved financial irregularities worth Rs 1,034 crore.
