Chamoli: The Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has attended Shastra Pooja with the soldiers on the occasion of Vijayadashami.
Indian Army Chief General Manoj Pande also participated in the shastra pooja that was held at Auli Military Station in Chamoli.
“Our nation is safe in the strong hands of our soldiers. Our Military and Para Military forces are the pride of our nation”, Said Rajnath Singh.
Rajnath Singh had attended the function of handing over the light combat helicopters, made indigenously by the nation, to the Air Force on Monday. He clarified that it is a proud moment of making indigenous helicopters that was identified as an inevitable part for the nation during 1999, at the time of the Kargil war.
