Badrinath Temple visit gives confidence; the celebration with soldiers on Vijayadashami is a blend of devotion and strength, says Rajnath Singh

Dehradun: The Union Minister Rajnath Singh, who attended the Vijayadashami festival with the soldiers, visited Badrinath temple. He reached Badrinath following the last day’s visit of Kedarnath.

Rajnath Singh had attended the  Shastra Pooja with the soldiers on the occasion of Vijayadashami. Indian Army Chief General Manoj Pande also participated in the shastra pooja that was held at Auli Military Station in Chamoli.

He expressed his joy on visiting the temples at Himalayas on the occasion of Vijayadashami and  said that such pilgrimages are a blend of devotion and strength. He has reached Uttarakhand to participate in the Dussehra celebrations.

The union Minister, who arrived in Dehradun, first visited Kedarnath. Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Uttarakhand CM and the BJP President Mahendra Bhatt received Rajnath Singh and the Army Chief who arrived at the Jolly Grant Airport in a special Air Force flight.

Rajnath Singh had attended the function of handing over the indigenous light combat helicopters, to the Air Force on Monday. He clarified that it is a proud moment of making indigenous helicopters that was identified as an inevitable part for the nation during 1999, at the time of the Kargil war.
