Lucknow: Two soldiers were martyred and a soldier got seriously injured when a Russian-made T-90 tank exploded in Uttar Pradesh. The incident took place in Jhansi’s Babina Cantonment.
The accident happened in the afternoon. The incident happened during training. Sumer Singh, a native of Rajasthan, and Sukhant Mandal, a native of West Bengal, were martyred. One of them is a junior commanding officer. Pradeep Singh Yadav, a native of Uttar Pradesh got serious injuries. The Army has announced an investigation over the incident. According to reports, the accident occurred when the tank’s barrel got bursted.
