Illegal acquisition of property; Raid in progress on Chhattisgarh at the residence of CM’s aides

Raipur: The ED raided the residences of government officials who are closely related to Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Bagal. ED conducted the investigations in the case of illegal acquisition of property. Sources said the raid, which started at 5 am today, is in progress.

Anti-money laundering agencies raided the residence of Soumya Chaurasya in Durg, the residence of CA Vijay Malu in Devendra Nagar, Raipur, the residence of Raigad Collector Ranu Sahu, Agni Chandrakar in Mahasamund and the residence of Suryakant Tiwari in Anupam Nagar.

In Mahasamund district, the investigation team conducted searches in places related to businessmen along with political activists. Vikas Nigam president and Agnichandrakar former MLA Lakshmikant Tiwari, his close aide Ajay Naidu, district Congress president Badal Makad and real estate businessman Sunny Lunia are being investigated in the case.
