Malappuram: An unusual voice was heard from the region of Kottakkal and nearby places. The sound was heard from regions like Palathara, Edarikode, Ambalavattam, Aamappara, Naayadippara, Atteeri and Parappur. It was again repeated after 20 minutes. The incident took place at 10.15 last night. It was also suspected as an earthquake.
The locals said that a roaring sound was heard and a vibration was also there afterwards. Meanwhile the construction work of National Highway is being taken place in the region. There are also doubts that the sound is related to that.
However, there is no official explanation regarding the incident so far.
