Ernakulam: A massive spurious liquor hunt in Ernakulam district. The team headed by Excise officials seized 1,500 litres of foreign liquor from North Paravoor Moothakunnam. Excise officials seized the wash and other equipment used for making alcohol in a house rented a year ago at Moothakunnam. Liquor was stored in 60 cans of 25 litres.
The investigation revealed that Jinto, a native of Vavakkad, had taken the house on lease. Excise officials informed that Jinto is absconding. The police have launched a detailed probe into the matter.
