New Delhi: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has given an explanation after the controversy over the foreign trip. The explanation given to the Ministry of External Affairs was that his Dubai trip was private. Whereas that of the personal staff is official, he added. The Chief Minister visited Dubai while returning from an official visit to the UK and Norway with his family. The trip was without permission from the Ministry of External Affairs.
